Development and Validation of an Evaluation Toolkit to Appraise eLearning Courses in Higher Education: A Pilot Study

The development and evaluation of eLearning approaches is a global trend in higher education today. This study aimed to develop companion toolkit consisting formative summative assessment scales evaluate academics’ experiences designing, delivering, evaluating eLearning. To test the psychometric properties toolkit, an instrument validation was conducted. Items were created, then tested for content face validity. A confirmatory factor analysis (n = 185 participants) scale examined underlying structure scale, while reliability assessed using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient. results show that model consistent with 3 factors (33 items) explaining total 62% variance. also high level both comprise toolkit. this can be used welcomed by teachers professionals involved use learning management systems or design, delivery, process.
